Rev. Cameron Edgar began his service at McLean Baptist in February 2003 as Associate Pastor with responsibilities for the youth and children ministries. He previously served as Associate Pastor for Youth and Education at the First Baptist Church of Eatonton, Georgia.

Cameron’s mission is to share with young people about the great love and grace of God and Jesus Christ through meaningful times of fellowship, Bible study, and special activities.

Cameron is a graduate of Georgia State University with a B.A. in Political Science. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University.

He was ordained to the ministry by his home church, Smoke Rise Baptist in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Cameron and Christy were married in June of 1998 and have two daughters, Shelby and Sylvie.
