Michael Catlett has served with McLean Baptist
Church since September 1990. Michael is a graduate of Emory University
where he received a PhD in Old Testament studies. An adjunct
professor of religion at George Mason University and The John
Leland Center for Theological Studies, Michael enjoys the opportunity
for dialogue and discussion regarding the journey of faith with
folks inside and outside of the church.
Susan and Michael have been married for more than 28
years and have two children, Erin, a student at The College of
William and Mary, and Ruth, a student at a
local elementary school.
In his spare time Michael enjoys golf, reading and writing.
Michael and the congregation share a wonderful relationship
that allows him to be who he has been called to be. McLean
Baptist Church is a place of great
freedom
and diversity, and it is a place that Michael is proud to call home.
